Material supply call through SATELLINE radio modem

At a car factory in Spain, material replenishment request from the production line is sent through SATELLINE-1870 to the fork lift terminal.

The system is made up of two elements: a Button, located at the production line and used to generate the call, and a Terminal for the fork lift trucks, which enables visualization of the messages or orders, and provides the means to respond to them.

Both devices include a SATELLINE-1870 radio modem specially designed for operation in highly noisy environments. They also offer excellent coverage in industrial areas.

The duplex communication is protected against transfer of erroneous messages. Therefore, it is ensured that all the data transmitted is always correctly received.

The battery-powered Button includes a sturdy, mushroom-shaped actuator and a bicolor LED of high luminosity to show the status of the request: received, accepted, etc. The aerial and the battery are encapsulated for protection in the harsh industrial area.

The Terminal has a wide display and four response keys with displaying LEDs.
