Monitoring the Condition of a Dam
In Storuman, northern Sweden, a mining company makes use of SATEL’s wireless communication equipment for continuous surveillance of the integrity of their water reservoir dam.
The dam monitoring system installed in October 2006 at the Blaken mine, is based on utilisation of SATELLINE-3AS radio modems and SATEL I-LINK I/O Converters.
