The innovative FieldDataSync research project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (Bundesministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft BMEL) has won the DLG-Agrifuture Concept Award 2025 competition! Background of the project
The aim of this project is to develop a manufacturer-independent, wireless communication solution for agricultural machinery without relying on mobile internet connections. Wireless communication is intended to enable mixed fleets (machines from different manufacturers) to work securely in a worksite by exchanging process data in real-time. The FieldDataSync project is being carried out in close co-operation between leading companies, renowned universities and associated partners (SATEL being one of the associated partners).
