SATEL brought together its Value Added Distributors (VAD) in Helsinki for a unique event that combined the annual VAD meeting with a milestone celebration of the company’s 40-year journey. The event provided an inspiring setting to strengthen collaboration, exchange insights, and reflect on the shared path that has shaped SATEL into a global leader in mission-critical connectivity.
Held in a memorable atmosphere, the gathering highlighted not only SATEL’s long-standing partnerships but also the importance of continuous innovation and cooperation in a rapidly evolving industry. As part of the celebration, SATEL recognized outstanding achievements within its global partner network by presenting the annual VAD awards. This year’s award winners were:

Distributor of the Year: Welotec GmbH, Germany
Marketing Innovator: SATEL USA, USA
In addition to these recognitions, SATEL honored a remarkable individual contribution by presenting a Lifetime Achievement Award to Mr. Claus Hofman-Bang. As he retires, Claus concludes an exceptional partnership with SATEL that began in 1993. SATEL warmly thanks him and wishes him “happy sailings” and many enjoyable moments at sea in the years ahead.
