They can be built anywhere, and there is no need for public networks or internet connection. This also means more safety, more cybersecurity.
With private networks you can also control the traffic volume and calculate possible disaster scenarios, which brings predictability. This is especially important e.g. in electrical utilities and waterworks that suffer greatly if interruptions occur. Repair and compensation costs may rise high and customer satisfaction becomes lower.
As we all know, each incident that does not occur saves both costs and brand image.
